Tom Sawyer Company has provided extensive work in the marketing industry with clients ranging from local agencies such as the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to national agencies such as Pfizer. Case study: Ben Sawyer Bridge Project
The Tom Sawyer Company worked in partnership with Parson Brinkerhoff and the South Carolina Department of Transportation to set public meetings and hearings on the issue and approach to the rehabilitation of the Ben Sawyer Memorial Bridge connecting Sullivan’s Island and Mount Pleasant, S.C. A public outreach approach was created and utilized to engage residents and key stakeholders in the three areas most affected by construction and maintenance of the bridge. These areas were: Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Isle of Palms.
